Term 2 Week 3 - Thursday 11th May 2023
Notes from the Principal

On Monday Catherine McAuley held its annual Athletics Carnival. As always, it was wonderful to see students enjoying the fabulous autumn sunshine and excelling on the athletics field. There was a riot of colour and noise as each of the houses presented their house cheers, and a great deal of camaraderie amongst students. They certainly maintained a high level of excellence throughout the day, and I commend them on their participation and cooperation.
I have been speaking to students this term about excellence, and about ensuring excellence in all that they do. For your perusal, I have attached the address I delivered to the school assembly yesterday morning, in which I made reference to our foundress, Catherine McAuley, and her constant aspiration to excellence.
This Sunday is Mother's Day; best wishes to all mothers and mother-figures on this special day.
